“Croatia lacks a more defined FDI strategy, as well as export strategy. Investment promotion in manufacturing sector should be the main Croatian objective in the following period. And that is exactly what this map aims to do – to promote Croatia as the country attractive to do business in”, said Silva Stipić Kobali, Managing Director of the CCE International and EU Affairs Sector. “Although there some positive changes in the field of FDI have been visible, it is still uncertain whether this trend is a long-term or not”, Stipić Kobali additionally explained.
The year 2014 was a first year of the visible increment after a long investment pause, which came with the economic crisis in 2008.
